Özgür Özel thanked to Mayor Böcek for the festival and said:
“This is a very valuable union, regardless of which political party it belongs to. There are NGOs, there are nomads from all over Turkey. Here, they both tell and keep alive their culture, traditions and customs. This opportunity is very important. Intercultural interaction, we have seen the joy of people who have seen their relatives from far and close to each other.
Frankly, I thought that there was still a long way to go since it was held here for the first time, but we are witnessing a festival with almost no shortcomings and a lot of pluses. This shows that how much the Mayor and his team care about the job and how meticulous they are. There is multinational participation. Many festivals in Turkey have the title of international, but this has become a truly international festival.
We believe that it will become a tradition in the coming years, become more and more rooted, and will make an impact in Turkey and in the world with much more important participation. In this sense, I would like to thank everyone, especially Muhittin Böcek"
